Letter of recommendation:
I engaged Richard Old’s Estate Services to assist my family in clearing out personal belongings after my mother’s death in early September. Richard met personally and promptly with me after my request and was caring and honest. I appreciated his explanations and his assistance in determining the value of items left after my family had all claimed personal belongings of sentimental value.
My mother lived in one of Good Samaritan’s Twin Homes, and the online auction he held was discrete and very well organized. Items were picked up promptly, and Richard took care of donating or disposing of the rest. This took less than a week. The home was left clean and I was able to check out the remaining day without even running a dust mop!
There is so much to take care of after a person dies. It was such a relief to be able to engage Richard for professional assistance with the personal effects. Just as he promised, I was able to focus on the things I wanted to do, not on the minutia. Now…if I could just get the phone company to confirm the disconnection of her land line and internet, I would be done! They could take a lesson in customer service from Estate Services.
