Recently, we began the process of what to do with our parent’s home and all their cherished possessions after the passing of our mother. Once our father decided to move from their home and return back to Montana, we had the daunting task of deciding what to do next.

We ended up doing a private sale with his help to advertise to his extensive email list. It was so fun the meet the different folks and see how they approached a sale. Some came in, poked around, and left. Some stayed for several hours! Some dickered over prices and some paid more than we asked. Some came back later in the day or the next day, often bringing friends or family.
