We had the daunting task of cleaning up an estate where everything in the house needed to be removed in a very short period of time. We initially contacted Richard via email. He was prompt in his reply and prior to meeting he advised us on how to proceed. During the in-person walk through, while being very gracious he regrettably informed us that, due to the short time frame, he was unable to take on the job. However, he spent a significant amount of his own time giving us ideas and helped create a plan in which we could complete the process ourselves. As he has been in the business 35+ years, we gladly took his advice. He provided contacts/other avenues for removal, estate sale strategy, and most helpful an email blast to his database of buyers. Richard hates for things to go to waste, so he even contacted the “hog lady” who hauled off the 20+ trash bags of old food/pantry items for her pigs. All keepsakes and personal items were removed and are still in the family. The spontaneous sale we held was extremely successful thanks to his notification to his email list.
In the end, we achieved the finish line well ahead of schedule, coming out on top earning well more than anticipated. Most importantly “not a fork” was left in the house.
